PHAROS Audience Award for ZWEIGSTELLE – and a very special reunion
Sometimes things come full circle in the most wonderful way:
The PHAROS Audience Award 2025 at the Leipzig Film Art Fair went to ZWEIGSTELLE – a film that is particularly close to our hearts. This is because our PHAROS junior team played a key role in the post-production of this extraordinary debut film.
This Bavarian genre film, funded by FFF Bayern and distributed by Weltkino, is director Julius Grimm's feature film debut—a wonderfully bizarre afterlife comedy about friendship, faith, and the big questions that follow:
When Resi and her clique are involved in a fatal accident on their way to the Alps, they find themselves in a Bavarian authority in the afterlife that decides their fate. But what happens to people who didn't believe in anything?
The audience award was presented by Katharina Deltow and Michel Ellwanger, who congratulated the film team in person at the event.
For us at PHAROS – The Post Group, ZWEIGSTELLE is a real labor of love:
As one of the few training companies in the industry, we focus on the practical promotion of young talent – and we couldn't be prouder of our trainees, who implemented this project in-house with great commitment, technical skill, and creativity.
We congratulate the entire team around director Julius Grimm and producers Simon Bogocz, Felix Mann, and Ben Ulrich (WennDann Film) on this special success!
